The Devildogs #11206 and the Rogue Cats #21305, two FTC robotics groups from Duluth are actually headed to the state championships after ending their qualifying competitions.



The Rogue Cats captained the alliance with each the Devildogs and Excalibots #4509, from Prior Lake, which received their semi-final spherical to maneuver on to the finals and completed second place.
The Devildogs received 2 awards: the Management Award and the 2nd place Encourage Award. And The Rogue Cats received two awards: third place Encourage Award and third place Join Award.
The 2 groups will likely be heading right down to St. Paul on February 10th and 11th.
The groups are part of the non-profit group 3D Robotics Duluth that features 9 totally different FIRST robotics groups. The FTC groups are open to college students from 7-Twelfth grade. FIRST Tech Problem in Minnesota (MN FTC) is a part of a world robotics program that features greater than 6400 groups around the globe.
