Protests broke out in western Iran on the funeral of a 22-year-old Mahsa Amini who died after being in detention by morality police imposing strict hijab guidelines on Saturday, September 17.
Girls eliminated their hijab to protest in opposition to the dying of the younger lady in detention. As safety forces used tear fuel to disperse protesters, the ladies chanted “dying to the dictator!”

The dying of the 22-year-old Iranian lady in detention by morality police sparked protest by a number of Iranians who took to the road to protest. Some even protest on social media platforms.
An Iranian journalist tweeted, “Eradicating hijab is a punishable crime in Iran. We name on men and women all over the world to point out solidarity.”
Mahsa Amini was detained by Iran’s morality police for allegedly not complying with the nation’s hijab laws.
Protesters even took down a banner of Qasem Soleimani (the useless commander of IRGC Quds pressure) whereas protesting.
